Euro2001 – Day 4 – BEAUNE to PONTARLIER

Today we have a fairly leisurely start. From Beaune we continue East towards Pontarlier on the Swiss border - on the way are plenty of viewpoints and stunning views on what is almost entirely, minor roads. We follow the River Daube for some way, before taking a very scenic run up to the Pont du Diable and then down in to Pontarlier.
We have an appointment at 2pm at the Sbarro car factory museum. For those that haven't heard of this place, imagine the engineering talents of DVA, the free time of Allan and the money of all of us put together. Look out for the motorbike with the "interesting" wheels...
The Sbarro museum is open from 10:00am – 7.00pm. Entry cost is 30 FFR.
No specific lunch arrangements have been made but there are several fast food joints close to Franco Sbarro’s, or the centre of Pontarlier is very quaint and close by.
