Euro2001 – Day 11 – CAMBRAI to CIRCUIT DE CROIX EN TERNOIS

Thursday 9th August 2001

“Track day 2”

Well here we are on our final day; I expect there will be a few sore heads after the last night festivities so apologies for the early start but we have a lot to fit in. Our route out of Cambrai is D939 to Arras straight through the town centre; follow the signs for Le Touquet until you pick up the N39. Follow this for about 20 miles and it then becomes a dual carriageway. You will see an exit to St Pol Sud which also has a sign for the circuit.

For those of you who have been getting itchy feet after the last couple of days of cruising may I present to you the circuit of Croix-en-Ternois. It all looks perfectly normal until you realise that it is just over a mile in length - this is a very tight, twisty, perfect for sevening cicuit!

Directions: Microsoft AutoRoute.

Summary: 46.6 miles (1 hour, 2 minutes)
